Purpose BridgeBio Pharma is preparing to launch encaleret, the first oral calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) negative allosteric modulator designed specifically for patients with Autosomal Dominant Hypocalcemia Type 1 (ADH1). ADH1 is a rare, genetic endocrine disorder caused by gain-of-function mutations in the CaSR gene, resulting in chronic hypocalcemia and a constellation of serious long-term complications inadequately addressed by conventional therapy. The KOL Engagement Leader, Endocrinology is a newly created, field-based commercial role that will serve as the primary bridge between BridgeBio and the endocrinology thought leader community ahead of and through the encaleret launch.
