Job summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring quality control, managing inbound and outbound activities, and providing guidance to warehouse associates and operations team. This role is vital in maintaining efficient warehouse processes, accurate order fulfilment, and a safe working environment. Core responsibilities Operational Action & Oversight Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Supervise order picking, packing, labelling, and dispatch processes. Ensure prompt and courteous service to walk-in customers. · Ensure team operations run efficiently and effectively in line with supply chain methodologies, LEAN and Six Sigma principles. Inventory & System Management Monitor inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts. Operate and optimize FME’s inventory system to support planning cycles. Coordinate stock availability and replenishment strategies. Equipment & Safety Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment. Enforce safety protocols and lead incident response initiatives. Team Leadership Provide guidance and supervision to warehouse staff. Conduct training on operational best practices and quality standards. Evaluate team performance and support career development. Quality Control Oversee product inspections and process compliance. Track and report defects, initiating corrective actions. Lead quality improvement initiatives using LEAN/Six Sigma tools. Stakeholder Coordination Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners. Resolve operational issues and ensure timely delivery fulfilment. Additional Duties Perform other tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations and team goals. Qualifications · Proven at least 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or a related role. · High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Secondary school and above · Able to read English instructions and communicate well
