Your Job The US Payroll Tax Analyst will deliver end-to-end US payroll tax support across multiple Koch entities, ensuring compliance, accuracy and timely filings. You will be a key contributor to payroll tax operations—handling registrations, reconciliations, notices, and year-end activities—while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve processes and mitigate tax risk. Our Team Global Payroll & Tax is a core part of Koch HRS Payroll within HR Solutions India. We provide centralized, expert payroll tax services for Koch and affiliated entities (e.g., Molex, Georgia‑Pacific, Guardian, Infor), collaborating daily with payroll providers, HR, and business partners to ensure seamless tax compliance. What You Will Do Own and drive accurate, timely federal, state and local payroll tax compliance and filings (including Forms 941, 940, state unemployment/withholding/disability returns), ensuring deadlines and regulatory expectations are met. Proactively monitor tax law changes, research technical issues, and translate guidance into process improvements that reduce risk and increase efficiency. Maintain and secure company tax registrations, EFTPS credentials, and state withholding accounts to ensure uninterrupted tax operations. Lead year‑end tax activities (W-2, 1099), validating source data and coordinating distribution to deliver a reliable employee experience. Partner cross-functionally—with ADP, HR, supervisors and employees—to resolve tax notices, validate employee work/location changes, and ensure accurate multi-state withholding. Ensure SUI tax rates and state-specific settings are validated and maintained in payroll systems (SAP, ADP), reducing leakage and reconciliation exceptions. Serve as a responsive, trusted advisor to employees and HR teams on payroll tax inquiries, using clear communication to explain complex tax outcomes.
