Job Description
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components. Performance tuning tools and techniques. System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques. Systems administration methods. Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services. Installing, configuring, upgrading and trouble shooting hardware and software components. Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers. Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests. IT security principles. OR Completion of a master's degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours as indicated above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. In addition, candidates must demonstrate IT-related experience which addresses the following four competencies: Attention to detail - Such as implementing quality control procedures and conducting compliance reviews. Customer service - Such as providing assistance to both internal and external customers; assessing customers' needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction. Verbal communication - Such as conducting formal presentations or training to audiences at varying levels of hierarchy and technical expertise.
