The Global Sales Strategy & Insights team drives scalable growth and productivity through better planning, stronger data, and more informed decision-making across our Sales and Customer Success organizations. We're looking for a Senior Anaplan Model Builder to design, build, and improve the planning systems that support efficient operations and strategic decision-making across our Sales and Customer Success organizations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Ops, GTM Anaplan, you'll help shape HubSpot's Anaplan ecosystem and ensure it delivers reliable, actionable insights for GTM Planning and Leadership. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and another model builder to improve existing models and build new capabilities across the Rep, BDR, Partner, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success organizations. This role suits someone who brings strong Anaplan experience but also enjoys working across systems, data, automation, and process improvement—and who uses modern tools, including AI-enabled workflows, Hex, and agentic coding tools like Claude Code, to work smarter and move faster. In this role, you'll get to Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models supporting headcount planning, quota planning, revenue forecasting, and ROI analysis across the Rep, BDR, Partner, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success organizations. Lead model-building efforts end to end—from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Partner with business model owners, subject matter experts, and analytics teams to translate planning needs into scalable solutions and identify automation opportunities. Improve existing models with a focus on performance, usability, auditability, and long-term maintainability, including strong governance and SOX/control practices. Build and improve inbound and outbound data integrations between Anaplan and other business systems, working closely with the team on Workato-enabled integrations. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions that reduce future risk. Use Hex, agentic coding tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve analysis, documentation, QA, troubleshooting, and overall team productivity. Serve as a senior technical partner to stakeholders—providing transparent updates, raising risks early, and creating clear documentation and training that drives adoption. We're looking for people who have Certified Anaplan Model Builder with 2+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience. 5+ years of professional experience in sales operations, finance, planning systems, analytics, business systems, or a related field. Experience owning or leading development for planning, forecasting, reporting, or operational processes. Strong understanding of Anaplan model design, data flows, user access, testing, and deployment best practices. Experience with inbound and outbound data integrations between business systems. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and foundational SQL knowledge. Comfort with modern analytics and automation tools, and a willingness to incorporate AI into day-to-day workflows. Ability to develop practical solutions to ambiguous problems in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A few qualities that would help you stand out Certified Anaplan Solution Architect. Experience with Workato or similar ETL, iPaaS, or workflow automation tools. Experience with Anaplan Data Orchestrator Experience with HubSpot CRM or another CRM platform. Experience supporting headcount, quota, revenue, sales capacity, or territory planning. Experience mentoring other builders, analysts, or business partners on planning systems and best practices. Familiarity with sales operations, finance, customer success, or go-to-market planning processes. Cash compensation range: $116,000.00-$174,000.00 Pay & Benefits The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
