Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within the hospital in the Medical/Surgical Unit. 17 bed unit. Patient Ratio 1:5/6. Observation patients, Respiratory conditions/problems, General Medical/Surgical Diagnoses as appropriate, Palliative/End of Life/Hospice patients, Psychiatric Observation, Diabetes (including new diabetics, patients with complications related to diabetes), Surgical patients/surgical observation. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of recent MedSurg experience EPIC experience required Previous charge experience preferred Traveler will be required to pass an EKG exam during onboarding Patient Diagnoses includes but is not limited to the following: Observation patients. Respiratory conditions and or problems (Oxygen up to 6L NC or by facemask. Higher levels of oxygen will require a higher level of care. Trach collar should be at no higher than 40%). General Medical Surgical Diagnoses as appropriate. Palliative, End of Life, Hospice patients. Psychiatric Observation. Diabetes (including new diabetics, patients with complications related to diabetes. Surgical patients, surgical observation. Location: Greensboro, NC **Must reside >50 miles from the facility to qualify Rate: $1,980/weekly Shifts Available: Days: 7:00am-7:00pm, 3x12 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Floating Requirements: float to like acuities or less if needed Weekends: every other weekend required Holidays: as needed No Call Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment RN licensure/compact state BLS Certification (AHA only) NIHSS/Stroke Scale (AHA only) ACLS Certification (AHA only) *preferred, not required Quality Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay by direct deposit Scrubs provided by facility Housing Stipends/Meals & Incidentals for all healthcare professionals Paid Sick Time Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term
