Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within the hospital in the MedSurg Unit/Telemetry unit. 30 bed unit. Average daily census is 16 patients. Patient Ratio 1:6. Observation patients, Respiratory conditions/problems, General Medical/Surgical Diagnoses as appropriate, Palliative/End of Life/Hospice patients, Psychiatric Observation, Diabetes (including new diabetics, patients with complications related to diabetes), Surgical patients/surgical observation. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of recent MedSurg/Tele experience Cardiac Monitoring/Emergency Response: Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias Excellent skills needed for starting/maintaining IVs Respiratory: Chest tubes - Emerson/PluerEvac, and Nasal Cannula.
