Job Description
Brief Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Project Manager to lead substantial construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Responsibilities: Oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, and operation throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and performance metrics. Develop and maintain construction programs, resource plans, and work schedules to optimize efficiency. Identify risks and implement strategies for mitigation to minimize project disruptions. Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting effectively. Review contracts and ensure compliance with project obligations and policies. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to facilitate communication and resolve issues. Conduct technical discussions and project meetings, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder engagement. Review design documents for compliance and constructability, collaborating with design consultants as needed. Enforce adherence to quality, safety, and compliance with building regulations and standards. Promote and uphold Workplace Safety & Health standards throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor and provide guidance to project teams, including site engineers and coordinators. Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders, fostering a high-performance environment. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects. Proven track record in integrated developments or large public sector projects is preferred. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and local regulations. Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
