Job Description
The Mobility Electronics (ME) division of Bosch covers a wide portfolio of micro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) which are essential to modern life - from applications in automotive safety and navigation to consumer devices like smartphones and hearables up to control systems in spacecrafts. Bosch sensors are everywhere. Our team develops a tool for Computer-Aided Design (CAD) used to develop the sensors’ underlying micro-structures. We cover the full product lifecycle from development over deployment up to user support and continuously expand the software’s capabilities using a state-of-the art development environment. Our work is embedded in a highly dynamic, international setting involving close collaboration with in-house R&D and interfacing to world-renowned customers from the automotive and consumer industry. Your tasks ► You develop a CAD tool with Java kernel and MATLAB interface based on requirements from design engineers ► You implement and develop algorithms, e.g. for geometrical operations, to enable innovative sensor designs ► You develop and review the tool architecture for optimal flexibility and maintainability ► You optimize the tool for efficiency and usability by consequently incorporating user experience ► You ensure reliability of the tool using rigorous testing ► You automatize design workflows to minimize the development time of new sensors ► You support users in the application of the tool ► You apply state-of-the art AI to unlock the full potential of our design workflows ► You help shaping the technical roadmap of the tool and mentor and inspire colleagues with your expertise Your chance ► You will tackle most challenging problems in a highly relevant and innovative growth sector (semiconductors/MEMS) with a tangible impact on global scale. ► As part of an eager team, you wil
