Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager (Automation) Location: Noida Sector 62 Experience: 8–12 Years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role PhysicsWallah (PW) is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manage r to lead and scale our QA function for high-impact, large-scale B2C products used by millions of learners across India. This role demands a strong blend of automation expertise, mobile testing experience, and team leadership, ensuring high standards of product quality, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern testing frameworks, mobile automation (Appium), and a strong understanding of evolving practices including AI-driven testing (good to have). Key Responsibilities  Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring high-quality product releases across web and mobile platforms.  Define and implement test strategies, plans, and scalable QA processes for large-scale applications.  Drive test automation initiatives using tools like Selenium, Playwright, and modern frameworks.  Own and strengthen mobile testing practices, including automation using Appium.  Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.  Implement shift-left testing practices to improve release velocity and reduce production defects.  Monitor and enhance quality metrics such as test coverage, defect leakage, and release stability.  Ensure robust functional, regression, integration, mobile, and performance testing processes.  Identify release risks and implement risk-based testing strategies.  Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a high-performance, automation-first culture.  Explore and adopt AI-driven testing approaches to improve efficiency and coverage (good to have).
