Description Trupanion is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance Operations team. In this role, you will ensure that Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Commission processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with financial reporting requirements. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex operational processes. As the Finance Operations Analyst, you will lead process improvement initiatives across these functions, drive operational efficiencies, and support ongoing enhancements while facilitating recurring monthly and regulatory reporting. You will build strong relationships across the organization and contribute to the continued growth and success of a high-performing Finance team. This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities: Ensure AP, AR, Procurement, and Commission processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with GAAP requirements. Calculate, validate, and process commissions accurately based on sales and business data. Oversee AP, AR, and Commission system and process changes, ensuring proper testing and validation. Analyze AP, AR, and Commissions data to support informed decision-making across the business. Lead initiatives to implement a procurement function at Trupanion Partner cross-functionally to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
