Job Summary Perform Manufacturing Engineering activities within Engine Overhaul and Component Repair production areas. Act as the Technical Authority, ensuring the initial and ongoing capability of production methods to consistently produce conforming products, and driving the resolution of technical issues, problems, and deviations to meet business and customer requirements in safety, cost, delivery rate, and lead time (SQCD). Support the integration of all Manufacturing Engineering activities across the product lifecycle and throughout the supply chain. Job Responsibilities · HSE – Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm programme. · Product Safety – Understand product safety risks and implement mitigation actions to achieve required safety levels in support of the Company’s Safety Management System. · Quality – Promote a zero-defect culture by ensuring manufacturing processes and methods are developed and deployed to support Right First Time principles. Support process and product quality investigations and manage NADCAP accreditation requirements. · Delivery – Ensure manufacturing processes and methods, including those of suppliers, are developed and deployed to support Right First Time delivery using SPS, DMAIC, and Systems Engineering tools. Manage FAIR/MSA activities and source and method changes within the area of accountability. · Delivery – Review and resolve identified issues, including troubleshooting strip/build, balancing, runout, in-situ repair, and component repair processes, as well as key equipment and tooling (ITT, VTL, BTG, Wash, FTB, CMM, etc.), and re-establish standards. · Cost – Support the area of accountability in meeting cost targets, including productivity and Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ). · Standards – Deploy and sustain SAESL Operating System standards in collaboration with the Cell/Area CFT and suppliers, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of stand
