Job Description Formulate and implement strategies for multilateral partnerships between partner universities across geographic regions to extend SMU’s engagement and impact, and in so-doing, contribute to realising SMU’s Asia Gateway aspirations. Formulate and implement strategies, including campaign strategies, to secure, sustain and enhance SMU’s participation and/or membership in important multilateral global alliances/networks and forums aligned with SMU’s strategic priorities. Formulate engagement and profiling strategies to build SMU’s reputation in the global university and larger higher education and research community. Lead in strategic communications for the team to position SMU as Asia’s Innovative and Impactful Gateway University. Lead a team and coordinate IO geographic partnership clusters in furthering SMU’s impact and Asia Gateway. Other Duties as assigned. Qualification 12 to 15 years of experience and proven high-level skills and achievements in multilateral diplomacy, partner and project management - across countries, preferably in higher education and research, and in leading teams, including cross-cultural teams. Strategic, analytical and creative thinker, with strong communications/writing skills. Entrepreneurial, resourceful and resilient. Meticulous with an eye for detail and an advocate for g
