We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented People Operations (HR) Intern to support day-to-day HR operations and gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle. This 6 months role offers a hands-on learning opportunity to gain exposure across key areas of People Operations, including onboarding, payroll support, compliance, HR systems, and talent initiatives. You’ll build practical experience working with both data and employee processes while developing strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Generalist ·Serve as a point of contact for new hires, guiding them through pre-employment and onboarding processes ·Support employee communications, reminders, surveys, and performance check-ins ·Maintain compliance documentation, including labor law updates, training tracking, and audit preparation ·Assist with state reporting requirements (e.g., new hire reporting) and tax account management ·Liaise with state agencies (Department of Labor, Revenue, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance ·Maintain organized documentation across systems, portals, and internal knowledge bases ·Support employer branding initiatives to enhance company visibility and attract talent ·Create and manage social media content to promote the company’s employer brand and culture 2. Payroll, Benefits & Data Accuracy ·Conduct pre-payroll audits (timesheets, PTO, commissions, bonuses)
