In order to qualify for the GS-15 grade level, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Leading or managing federal national security programs, including developing or implementing policies and procedures in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives; AND 2) Representing an organization before senior federal officials and interagency partners (e.g., the White House, National Security Council, HHS, OMB, or) Congressional offices to coordinate national security activities and respond to high-level data calls and inquiries; AND 3) Advising senior leadership on threat landscapes, enterprise risk management strategies, and disaster recovery operations; AND 4) Analyzing proposed legislative and regulatory changes for their operational impact in order to implement agency-wide policies, procedures, and recommendations related to national security and information protection. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
