Job Description Summary As the Field Service Engineer 2, you will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment for X-ray, Vascular and MRI modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in Corpus Christi, TX area. This is a remote role that requires the candidate to work onsite at customer locations and occasionally from home office. To provide onsite customer support, candidate needs to be able to work in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Job Description Responsibilities: Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on a variety of GE Precision Healthcare medical imaging systems, including but not limited to MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine equipment. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and schematics. Conduct thorough testing and performance verification of repaired systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to customers, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly and professionally. Manage service calls and schedules efficiently to maximize equipment uptime and meet customer expectations. Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent. Adhere to all GE Precision Healthcare and customer safety protocols and procedures. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with new product releases and service technologies. Collaborate effectively with sales, applications, and support teams to address customer needs and improve overall service delivery. Identify and report potential product issues or improvements to relevant internal teams. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience.
