You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. It is available for your review on the OPM web site at OPM qualification standards Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, candidates must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as having experience performing program management tasks such as: (1) planning and developing program goals and objectives (e.g., full lifecycle of IT services); (2) project planning and management-developing, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects and resources (e.g., monitoring and inspecting costs, work and contractor performance); and (3) providing oversight for the delivery of various hardware and software solutions to meet operating needs. In addition to meeting the specialized experience stated above, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
