Job Description
Quality Engineer (ISO 9001/AS9100/ISO 14644/SEMI/ CQE/CQT) Responsibilities Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, standards, and inspection protocols for equipment manufacturing. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, and suppliers to identify quality risks and ensure product quality throughout the production process. Establish, monitor, and report quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), including defect rates, yield, throughput, and overall quality performance. Conduct quality audits, inspections, and process reviews to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Analyze quality data, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, AS9100, SEMI, CE, and UL standards. Lead investigations of quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies. Support semiconductor manufacturing requirements, including cleanroom operations, contamination control, equipment reliability, and maintainability programs. Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with quality management system requirements. Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and key stakeholders. Partner with design and engineering teams to support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) initiatives. Develop and conduct quality-related training programs to enhance employee awareness, competency, and compliance with quality procedures and standards.
