Job Description
Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract (Convertible) Working Location: AMK Working Hours: Monday to Friday (830am – 6pm) Salary range: Up to $6500 (Based on experience) Job Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues Perform Level 2/Level 3 troubleshooting for network incidents and outages Implement network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems Support network architecture planning and scalability for future business needs Manage network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and optimize services Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network systems Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support when required Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related roles Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent are preferred Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP Hands-on experience with enterprise network devices and technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, and Aruba Networks Proven experience in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and implementing network security best practices Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG Network Monitor, Nagios, and Zabbix Experience with wireles
