Job Description
Role Overview The Project Co-Ordinator cum BIM is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) deliverables for engineering projects. The role involves producing detailed 3D models, construction drawings, clash detection reports, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution. The successful candidate shall possess strong technical knowledge of BIM processes, engineering systems, and construction methodologies while supporting project delivery from design through commissioning Responsibilities BIM Modelling & Drafting: - Develop and maintain BIM models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software. - Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and shop drawings, construction drawings, as-built drawings, and BIM deliverables. - Create and update 3D models based on engineering design requirements. - Ensure all BIM models comply with project BIM standards and client requirements. - Maintain model accuracy throughout project development and construction stages. Coordination& Collaboration: - Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, Architects, and Contractors. - Participate in BIM coordination meetings and design reviews. - Assist in multidisciplinary model integration and coordination. - Resolve design conflicts through BIM coordination processes. - Support construction teams with model-related technical clarifications. - Lead BIM coordination for assigned projects. - Review and approve BIM models prepared by junior modellers - Establish BIM standards and workflows for project teams. Engineering Support: - Support engineering teams in preparing layouts and technical submissions. - Assist in design development and engineering documentation. - Verify engineering systems routing, equipment placement, and installation requirements. - Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and project specif
