The Senior Analyst, Derivatives Investment Accounting will be a key member of the Derivatives Accounting team and will be responsible for accurate and timely accounting for investments and investment programs on an IFRS, USGAAP, STAT basis along with financial statement reporting support, regulatory reporting support and managerial reporting support. Accounting encompasses: Implementation of accounting guidance and policy; Investment system set up review, monitoring transaction set up and processing oversight monitoring and maintenance of investment system feed to general ledger and other systems used for reporting support (IRDB, BRDB, GRDB). Financial statement and regulatory reporting support encompasses legal entity/reporting entity level review and analysis of accounting for investments. Managerial reporting support encompasses portfolio / line of business metric review of accounting for investments. What you will do: Responsible for accounting and presentation of investments according to GAAP, IFRS and statutory standards. Responsible for accurate accounting in the sub-ledger system. May be tasked with monthly Inv Sub-ledger System close process. Reads, understands, questions new guidance and policy papers from Internal Technical Accounting Group and/or Management.
