Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and driven Cost Manager to join our team and deliver high-quality cost management services across a range of building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strong client-facing approach, and proven capability as a MEP cost consultant Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed Cost Estimates and Bills of Quantities across all project stages, from feasibility through to completion. Lead Value Engineering exercises to identify cost efficiencies without compromising design intent or quality. Manage the full tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation of submissions, and preparation of recommendation reports. Administer contracts in line with agreed conditions, advising clients on contractual matters and obligations. Assess, negotiate, and manage Change Orders with accurate documentation and timely resolution. Drive Final Account close-out, reconciling all project costs and preparing final cost reports for clients. Provide specialist MEP cost consultancy advice throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design through post-contract administration. Prepare and present regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses to clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure cost alignment with project goals. Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practice development within the team. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering, or an equivalent recognised qualification. Minimum 6–12 years' progressive experience in Cost Management or related fields within the construction industry. Demonstrable experience functioning as a MEP Cost Consultant, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their associated costs Candidates with combined experience in both infrastructure and building projects are strongly preferre
