Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer who is proactive to oversee the operation, maintenance and reliability of the electrical systems within our projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical installations, equipment and maintenance activities comply with statutory requirements, safety standards and operational needs Key Responsibilities Manage the maintenance, repair and operation of building electrical systems, including the electrical distribution systems, lighting, emergency power systems and other related equipment Plan, supervise and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Monitor the performance and reliability of electrical systems and recommend improvement initiatives Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely rectification works Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance works are carried out safely and in accordance with specifications Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, and workplace safety requirements Prepare maintenance schedules, technical reports, risk assessments and documentation Assist in budgeting, cost control, and procurement of tools and materials Respond to electrical emergencies and provide technical support when required Requirements At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management or property management. Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial, industrial or residential buildings. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and building management systems (BMS) Good understanding of electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements Experience in supervising maintenance contractors and service providers Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills.
