Agratas is a scale-up business with a start-up mentality, driven by our pursuit of green growth and technological progress. We develop next-generation battery technologies at our state-of-the-art R&D Innovation Hubs in India and the UK. About the Role Agratas Robotics Subject Matter Expert (SME) with battery industry experience should be a technical lead responsible for supporting Launch and Integration of high-precision automation required to manufacture battery cells, modules, and/or packs. They support the deployment of diverse robotic architectures to handle delicate and chemical components and charged assemblies with extreme speed and repeatability. Experience working in clean environments is also applicable to this role. Responsibilities Process Automation Design: Support designing end-to-end robotic lines for cell sorting, stacking, and ultrasonic/laser welding. High-Speed Material Handling: Optimizing pick-and-place workflows for electrode sheets and cylindrical/prismatic cells using SCARA and/or other robotics. Complex Assembly Integration: Implementing 6-axis articulated robots for material handling and pick and place before, during and after assembly. Cross-Platform Standardization: Collaborate defining technical standards across various robot brands (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA) to ensure uniform maintenance and programming protocols. Qualifications Essential: The Robotics SME must possess deep expertise across the following robotic varieties and applications: SCARA (Selective Compliance Articulated Robot Arm): Primarily used for high-speed, vertical-axis pick-and-place and assembly where precision on a horizontal plane is critical. 6-Axis Articulated Robots: Utilized for tasks requiring maximum flexibi
