About the Role We’re seeking a culturally attuned Head of Social Communications with impeccable judgment and genuine range. You’ll drive proactive and reactive social communications strategies for both Anthropic and Claude, expressing and balancing each distinctive brand with technical credibility, audience empathy, and candor about both the promise and risks of AI. This role will sit within the Communications team, but operate at the seam between Communications and Marketing, ensuring our organic social communications, campaigns and incident response work in concert with editorial, earned media, brand campaigns, and product marketing. You’ll facilitate thoughtful, high-substance social conversation around new models, products, and major company announcements, partnering closely with our marketing, editorial, and creative teams. You'll also lead our social response for breaking news cycles, and manage the issues and incidents that come with being at the center of the AI conversation.
