Job Description
A Construction Project Engineer acts as the vital link between the project manager, architects, and field personnel. They drive project success by handling technical documentation, managing budgets, and ensuring construction aligns with blueprints and safety codes. Key Responsibilities Documentation & RFI Management: Process and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and architectural drawings to keep the field team moving. Quality Assurance: Inspect on-going construction to guarantee compliance with building codes, contract specifications, and design standards. Cost & Schedule Monitoring: Assist the Project Manager with budget tracking, bid analysis, and change order processing. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise between subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and clients to align on project scopes and resolve site issues. Closeout Duties: Generate punch lists and assemble final project turnover and warranty documentation.
