We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant Assistant for the company. The successful candidate will report to the Office Manager. The successful candidate will handle the essential administrative and clerical duties to ensure smooth operation of the accounting cycle accurately. Prepare and maintain financial records including accounts payable/receivables, general ledger entries and expense reports. You are responsible to report on status of accounts payable and receivables, ensuring accurate reporting. Any discrepancies to be identified and addressed in a timely manner. Process bank payments, deposits and bank reconciliation. Generate invoices and track payments from clients. Process invoices and make payments to suppliers and contractors accurately and on time. Handling of correspondences, phone calls, with suppliers and clients pertaining payables. Liaise with outsourced administration such as corporate secretary, accounting and government entities. Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information. Collaborate with the management team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Keep the internal accounting software updated. Prepare Payslips, Pay Salaries, Reimbursements and Contributions. You are responsible to ensure all salaries are calculated accurately including computations of Overtime pay for eligible staff. All salaries, reimbursements and contributions to be paid on or before the due date as stipulated by MOM. Payslips to be generated and distributed to each staff every month. Ensure weekly scheduled payout are made to events’ service crews engaged and the delivery drivers.
