Job Summary Ensure compliance with government health, safety, and environmental regulations while leading safety initiatives to achieve zero safety demerit points. Drive continuous improvement of the EHS system through ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards implementation and promote safe work practices on construction sites. Responsibilities Enforce compliance with government health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace Implement and uphold all safety requirements and in-house safety rules to achieve zero safety demerit points from the Ministry of Manpower and other agencies Lead continuous improvement of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) system by effectively applying ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards Monitor construction work sites regularly and conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and enhance safety awareness among personnel Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) team on safety initiatives and necessary procedural changes Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control, and 3-R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) programs to protect the environment Deliver training sessions to workers, staff, and site personnel to reinforce safety knowledge and compliance
