Job Summary Join Chye Joo Construction’s engineering team to lead project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction on awarded civil engineering projects. Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define clear project objectives and align expectations Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to guide project execution Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards, codes, and safety guidelines to maintain project integrity Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify that construction meets project requirements Foster a collaborative work environment by promoting open communication and proactive problem-solving Prepare comprehensive progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates for stakeholders Respond promptly to client concerns and inquiries to maintain high levels of client satisfaction Required competencies and certifications Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent Understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders
