Job Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning within a healthcare organization. This role ensures financial efficiency and sustainability by identifying trends, evaluating financial performance, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial data related to healthcare operations, including revenue, expenses, claims, patient utilization, and service line profitability. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Support cost-benefit analyses for new programs, initiatives, and capital investments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial benchmarks, and trends in healthcare finance. Assist in the development of financial models to evaluate reimbursement scenarios, payer mix, and regulatory changes. Conduct variance analyses between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to streamline financial reporting and data integration. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as healthcare-specific financial reporting standards (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid). Assist in audits, both internal and external, and support regulatory reporting as required. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry. Experience with healthcare data systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Power BI). Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and financial modeling. Understandin
