Job Summary As a Head Chef, you will lead kitchen operations, oversee dish preparation, manage staff hiring and performance, ensure health and safety compliance, and innovate new recipes to enhance the restaurant’s culinary offerings. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all kitchen activities to ensure timely and high-quality dish preparation from start to finish Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of kitchen staff to build an effective team Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment Develop and experiment with new recipes to keep the menu innovative and appealing Plan cuisine based on thorough knowledge of food products and their availability to optimize kitchen resources Organize kitchen workflow and delegate tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations during service Apply strong time management skills to balance cooking, supervising, and administrative duties efficiently Demonstrate stamina and resilience by standing and working extended hours to meet kitchen demands
