Key Responsibilities Execute comprehensive tender preparations, conducting precise quantity take-offs and compiling necessary documentation to secure competitive bids. Scrutinize and appraise vendor and sub-contractor pricing submissions, negotiating favourable commercial terms to maximize project profitability. Administer regular progress claims from external sub-contractors, generating prompt payment certificates in strict adherence toproject timelines. Support senior commercial management in evaluating Variation Orders (VOs) and Extension of Time (EOT) requests,actively facilitating the finalization of project accounts. Partner seamlessly with internal site execution teams to align commercial objectives with operational delivery and over arching project specifications. Requirements Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building,Construction Management, or a related commercial discipline. At least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the civil construction industry. Mandatory technical proficiency in industry-standard drafting and scheduling software, specifically encompassing AutoCAD and MS Project. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities, paired with the interpersonal finesse to negotiate effectively and function independently. Able to commence employment on an immediate basis or within a very short notice period to accommodate urgent project deployments is an advantage.
