Electrical Commissioning Engineer Company: NES Fircroft (on behalf of a leading power engineering company) Location: Singapore (project-based deployment) Employment Type: Permanent Benefits: Transportation Allowance Bonus AWS Phone bill allowance Yearly Increments Overview NES Fircroft is recruiting for Commissioning Engineers to support ongoing power transmission and distribution projects in Singapore. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in HV substations, switchgear, and transformer systems, with exposure to installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of HV/EHV substation and transmission projects (66kV–400kV) Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of:GIS / AIS switchgearPower transformersShunt reactorsProtection and control systems Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with technical standards Prepare and review technical documentation including test reports and drawings Perform troubleshooting and support fault analysis during commissioning Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients for project delivery Ensure adherence to safety, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering 2–8 years of relevant experience in power T&D or substation projects Hands-on experience in HV systems (66kV and above) Experience in testing and commissioning activities is highly preferred Familiarity with protection relays and substation systems Ability to work on-site across Singapore projects Why Apply Work on critical infrastructure projects in Singapore’s power sector Gain exposure to HV/EHV systems and modern substation technologies Strong learning and development opportunities Career growth within engineering and project role
