To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-12 level in federal service having demonstrated experience applying Information Technology (IT) security principles and methods, security regulations, policies, and requirements to create corrective action plans or Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) for remediation actions associated with security controls; independently planning and carrying out the design, development, and implementation of complex hardware, software, network management, servers, and systems; providing administration and support functions for industrial control systems, servers, application software, telecommunication equipment, and network devices; conducting research, analysis, development, and maintenance on systems.
