For decades, a technician's ability to diagnose and fix a problem depended entirely on what they knew, who they could call, and how well the manufacturer's manual translated to the job in front of them. The information was siloed, the process was manual, and the cost of a misdiagnosis — a return trip, a wrong part, a dissatisfied homeowner — was real and invisible. AI has changed what's possible. Equipment is smarter, sensor data is richer, and AI can reason across service history, fault codes, and real-world outcomes in ways no technician can replicate alone. At the same time, the interface layer for field work is on the cusp of a major shift — from mobile-first to multi-modal. Wearables, voice, computer vision, and ambient intelligence are arriving, and the trades are one of the highest-leverage places to apply them. This role sits at that intersection. You'll help define how AI and next-generation hardware transform the way technicians work — from diagnosing and fixing equipment to reimagining how field workers interact with their tools, data, and customers in the first place. What you'll do Own the product vision and roadmap for equipment diagnostics, from improving the core technician experience to expanding diagnostic intelligence across the platform. Drive adoption across the various trades and personas operating on ServiceTitan , creating a truly loved and invaluable experience. Build a platform layer of diagnostics that can be leveraged across multiple AI powered workflows throughout the product. Create and Own a the strategy for the equipment data graph that will power multiple workflows. Lead customer discovery with technicians and service operators to deeply understand real diagnostic workflows and where AI can have the highest impact, not just building AI for AI sake. Partner with engineering, data science, and design to build intelligent, reliable, and fast experiences that work
