Director, Business Development – IT Staffing Cynet Systems Canada This role is for closers If you've built your career opening doors that didn't exist, winning contracts before an RFP hits the street, and walking into cold rooms and walking out with signed agreements — keep reading. Cynet Systems Canada is growing aggressively in the Canadian IT staffing market, and we need a hunter who can lead that charge. If you've spent your career expanding existing accounts and managing relationships, this isn't the right fit. What You're Actually Being Hired To Do Own new logo acquisition in the Canadian IT sector. Full stop. Your mandate is net-new: enterprise organizations, public sector institutions, and technology-driven businesses that aren't currently Cynet clients. You will build your pipeline from the ground up, close high-value staffing contracts, and be accountable to clear, ambitious revenue targets. This is not a role where you inherit a book of business. It is a role where you build one. Day to day, that means: Prospecting relentlessly — phone, network, events, LinkedIn, cold outreach — whatever it takes to get in front of the right buyers Converting your existing network of C-suite, Procurement, and HR/Talent leaders into contracted clients Identifying and winning opportunities before they become formal RFPs, leveraging relationships and market intelligence others don't have Owning the full sales cycle: from first conversation to signed contract, including complex multi-stakeholder negotiations Maintaining a high-velocity pipeline with disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting Targeting high-volume, long-term placements across Application Development, Data Architecture, Business Analysis, and Project Management Savviness with procurement workflows and the ability to keep negotiations flowing Partnering with legal and finance on contract structuring — profitable, compliant, and built to scale Requirements What You Bring 8+ years of B2B sales or business de
