THE ROLE Grove is looking for a temporary Marketing leader to support our Acquisition function during a parental leave period for 3-4 months (starting ASAP, ending September). You will partner directly with the VP of Marketing to increase new customer acquisition within efficiency guardrails, helping to further refine creative strategy and new channel expansion. You will drive day to day operations with channel managers, internal and external creative resources, and reporting tools, while helping to refine our marketing strategy across channels and creative themes to enable near term growth. At the end of the contract period, you will bring our Director of Growth up to speed on team processes and performance, current strategy, near term channel and spend plans, and acquisition funnel performance during their time away. The ideal candidate will support and run the engine that acquires our next generation of customers—profitably and at scale. You’ll manage and optimize Grove’s social‑first content engine and creator ecosystem, then refine and manage the distribution strategy across organic and paid channels to put that work in front of the right consumers. This isn’t just another performance marketing role—you’ll use your brand-building expertise to deepen Grove’s awareness in relevant communities while selecting and scaling only the paid tactics that reinforce that strategy.
