Job Description This position is forCentre for Research on Successful Ageing (ROSA). Research and Publications Assist with quantitative data analysis, survey design and research support for research briefs and academic journals. Contribute to research collaborations with government ministries and agencies. Publication of academic papers (co-authoring alongside researchers in economics / sociology / psychology/ data science) External Engagements Handle requests for information from researchers and other interested parties related to the panel. Assist with the reports and presentation decks for external audiences and stakeholders. Engage in outreach activities, including: Organising symposiums, workshops, seminars, roundtables andconferences Community outreach programs International research collaborations Fundraisingactivities with private and government organisations. Depending on their abilities and preferences, this person also may represent the Centre externally,whether in the media, professional organisations, government or other forums. Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required by the Centre. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (for research assistant) and Master's degree (for research associate). Background in economics or social sciences preferred. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Well-trained in research methods. Quantitatively trained, with experience of STATA or SPSS. Detail-oriented with exacting standards to maintain accuracy and impartiality in all work products. Ability to work independently to carry out special projects from start to finish. Ability to balance numerous tasks simultaneously and is organised. Clear capacity to train and develop skills in coworkers. Ability to work cohesively and effectively in a team setting and take a leadership role in managing the work of colleagues when needed.
