[Job ID: 1148820] Responsibilities: Conduct research on new investment opportunities in emerging technology sectors such as renewable energy, AI, FinTech, digital solutions, and drones. Support start-up investment activities across Southeast and South Asia, including pipeline development and evaluation. Perform start-up research through online platforms, industry databases, and offline channels such as events and networking sessions. Assist with internal due diligence processes for potential investments. Organize and conduct site visits to start-up operational locations. Manage and support existing portfolio start-ups. Perform market research and industry analysis to support investment and consulting decisions. Coordinate proof-of-concept (PoC) projects in collaboration with start-ups. Assist in consulting engagements with corporate clients on innovation programs, start-up matching, and related initiatives. Provide support for Human Resource Development and Project Investment business activities. Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior staff, managers, and directors. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in market research within IT, FinTech, renewable energy, AI, digital, drone, or other emerging technology sectors. Proficiency in Japanese language (at least JLPT N2–N3) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders. Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and research reports. Strong interest in business management and investment-related activities.
