Job Description
Carry out analysis and application studies in the area of polyurethane laminating adhesives and coatings using laboratory equipment such as chromatography, FTIR, and universal testing machines. Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods to support product development, quality control, and troubleshooting activities. Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Interpret analytical data and prepare technical reports, test results, and documentation. Investigate product quality issues and support root cause analysis for manufacturing and customer-related concerns. Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, and Technical Service teams on product development and improvement projects. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results. Support new product development through formulation testing, performance evaluation, and analytical characterization. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and internal quality management system requirements where applicable. Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and sample tracking documentation. Participate in laboratory audits, equipment qualification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Review analytical procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and testing accuracy. Assist in evaluating alternative raw materials and conducting comparative studies. Comply with laboratory safety guidelines and maintain good laboratory housekeeping. Requirements: BSc with Honors in Chemistry. Experience in chemical lab is advantage Enjoys working with instruments Good interpersonal and communication skills.
