Job Title Software Technologist I/ II - Test Job Description Your role: responsible for crafting detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications, executes these tests, and meticulously documents the results to ensure thorough coverage and accuracy The role develops comprehensive test plans outlining the scope, objectives, resources, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and goals to facilitate effective testing processes and outcomes. The role creates and maintains automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools, streamlining repetitive testing tasks, improving efficiency in defect detection, and ensuring software quality. The role utilizes analytical skills to resolve medium-complexity requests efficiently, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. The role coaches new joiners and exerts influence within team - local lab/product. Extensive hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing, utilizing advanced tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and Microsoft Test Management Tool (MTM) & TFS. Adept at designing and executing comprehensive test strategies including Sanity Testing, UI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Automation test suites for new builds and change requests (CRs). Demonstrated leadership in directing verification teams across global locations (India, Europe, and America), ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery. Skilled at developing, reviewing, and optimizing test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks in alignment with functional design and business requirements. Effective communicator with the ability to articulate technical solutions and verification strategies to stakeholders, product owners, and senior management.
