Job Description
This role is a 2 years renewable contract, location is in the East Technical & Design Interface Management • Act as the primary on-site conduit between internal Engineering Team overseas and local stakeholders, translating complex technical design requirements into actionable site implementation plans. • Collaborate to ensure structural modifications, cable containment, and spatial provisions seamlessly accommodate new and refurbished subsystems. • Facilitate interface matrix alignment across all major project scopes, including new vehicles, Power Supply Distribution (PSD), Platform Screen Doors (PDS), Signalling, Communications and Guideway Track Infrastructure. Stakeholder Coordination & Alignment • Serve as the technical interface point-of-contact for appointed consultants, driving the timely review and approval of Interface Control Documents (ICDs). • Serve as PIC for work permits • Coordinate directly with third-party main contractors and designated subcontractors to eliminate spatial clashes, scheduling conflicts, and execution overlap at the site office. • Organize and chair regular on-site Interface Coordination Meetings to resolve cross-package technical conflicts, tracking open items through an updated Interface Register. Site Installation & Asset Modernisation Support • Carefully plan interface schedules for refurbishments (such as PSD modifications and signaling upgrades) to ensure zero impact on the live, daily operations of the existing system. • Oversee the structural and electrical readiness of the site prior to the delivery, installation, and integration of new vehicles and expanded infrastructure. • Assist the T&C teams in defining interface testing boundaries, ensuring all interconnected systems operate cohesively during local integration testing. Documentation, Quality & Risk Management • Maintain, track, and regularly update the project’s Master Interface Register, proactively escalating critical design or installation bottlenecks to the Site Pr
