About our client : Our client is an established international engineering and industrial solutions provider serving the marine, offshore, and industrial sectors across the region. About the role : We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth and develop strategic customer relationships within the marine sector across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, marine contractors, and other key industry stakeholders. Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with customers. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets. Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project execution. Travel within the region as required to support business development activities. About you: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within the marine industry. Strong understanding of the marine market, including shipowners, shipyards, marine contractors, and marine equipment suppliers. Established network and industry connections within the marine sector will be highly advantageous. Proven track record in developing new business and managing customer relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently.
