Job Description Summary GE Vernova's Software & Control Solutions (SCS) business line focuses on advanced control systems and digital solutions for the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Industrial segments. SCS integrates cutting-edge control systems (Mark VIe, HMI, Cyber, Generator, Advanced Software, DCS), global engineering support, comprehensive lifecycle programs, and hands-on training-empowering power plants and grid operators to run safer, smarter, and more reliably across the globe. The Senior Risk & Commercial Manager will provide Pole/Region leadership and subject matter expertise on identifying emerging policies, risks and regulatory shifts, and will be the pole/regional advisor to senior management on mitigating business exposure. This role will also provide strategic commercial leadership to the ITO teams to enable growth of controls product lines across the pole/region, influence commercial strategy and deal governance to establish a robust risk & rewards balance. This individual will be accountable for shaping & leading the overall deal strategy, orchestrating cross-functional & virtual deal teams in a matrix organization, and ensuring alignment on the commercial strategy for Core & Complex opportunities. The Senior Risk & Commercial Manager will lead the management of the risk pillars (Technical, Execution & Commercial) and drive high-quality decision-making at all stages of the deal lifecycle.
