The Amazon Payments Japan (APJ) team’s mission is to delight customers by building diverse payment experiences that are trusted, valued, and easy to use—while expanding access to credit and value everywhere - Bachelor’s degree required. - Proven general management experience (15+ years) building high-performance teams and driving business performance, and P&L ownership. - Experience hiring and leading large high-performance, cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Science/Analytics, Product Management, Operations, and Business Development. - Payments/financial services experience, including negotiating and managing partnerships, navigating regulatory requirements, and managing payments products and operations at scale. - Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver products and achieve operational goals. - Strong customer centricity and analytical skills. Comfortable using data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. - Experience managing a portfolio of businesses, balancing conflicting priorities, making critical trade-offs, and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
