Job Description
We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote position on a large federal government healthcare technology project. This role will support secure software delivery, cloud infrastructure operations, CI/CD automation, and release engineering initiatives within a collaborative DevSecOps environment. The engineer will work closely with developers, QA teams, security personnel, and platform engineers to improve deployment reliability, operational stability, and delivery efficiency across enterprise applications and services. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application builds, automated testing, packaging, and deployments. Implement automation solutions for environment provisioning, operational workflows, release activities, and infrastructure support tasks. Support secure software delivery practices including code scanning, dependency validation, secrets management, and policy enforcement. Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, pipeline, and environment-related issues across multiple applications and services. Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release quality, deployment reliability, and software delivery timelines. Support cloud infrastructure and shared platform services in coordination with architects, engineers, and operations teams. Maintain technical documentation for deployment pipelines, environment configurations, release procedures, and operational processes. Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Monitor system, application, and pipeline performance and recommend improvements to tooling, automation, and operational efficiency. Support change management, release readiness, and deployment coordination activities for production and non-production environments.
