Northern New England Greenway Manager About the job Who we are: The East Coast Greenway is a nationally connected, locally rooted trail system linking 15 states and more than 450 communities. The nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance leads the development of this 3,000-mile route from Maine to Florida. Working from early planning through ribbon cuttings, the Alliance partners with communities to secure funding, share trail-building expertise and connect efforts across city, county and state lines — turning bold visions into completed Greenway miles. About the role: The Northern New England Greenway Manager is a full-time position that carries multi-state responsibilities for all aspects of greenway development, partnerships, volunteer engagement, and greenway advocacy tasks in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The Northern New England Manager works under the direction of the National Greenway Director in coordination with other East Coast Greenway Alliance (ECGA) staff. This position will implement programs that support the ECGA Strategic Plan and specific strategies and goals in the region. The right candidate will grow, support, and empower our volunteers in the state and must be able to travel frequently within the region for meetings, events, and site visits.
