Job Summary An experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Indian Specialty Chef supporting the Head Chef in managing daily Indian kitchen operations, preparing authentic North and South Indian dishes with consistent quality, and leading kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in coordinating daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and service efficiency Prepare a wide variety of authentic North and South Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, and biryani, maintaining consistent taste, quality, and presentation Lead and supervise kitchen staff to foster teamwork and maintain discipline during food preparation and service Enforce strict food hygiene and safety standards to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure guest safety Manage kitchen inventory by monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage to control costs Coordinate timely food preparation and service during peak hours to meet guest demand and maintain quality
