Our client is a well-established precision engineering and advanced manufacturing company specializing in high-precision tooling solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Inprocess Quality Technician to join their team. They are located in the North – easily accessible. 1 Year Renewable Contract Working time: 5 Days | Mon - Fri 8am-5.30pm (10am / 3pm - 15mins break, 12.15pm-1pm lunch) Salary range : $2,800 max + OT (10-15 hrs weekly) + Contract Bonus (1-2 months after completed 1 yr) Responsibilities: Perform in-process quality inspections throughout various stages of manufacturing operations. Monitor and record process parameters to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality requirements. Identify, document, and escalate non-conformance issues for timely corrective actions. Support investigations into process deviations and quality-related concerns. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation in accordance with regulatory and quality system requirements. Work closely with production and engineering teams to support process control and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure inspection equipment and measuring instruments are properly maintained and calibrated. Adhere to workplace safety standards, operational procedures, and quality guidelines. Requirements: Diploma/Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline. Experience in quality control for precision engineering, mold manufacturing, or precision machine components. Able to read and interpret detailed 3D engineering drawings and perform inspections independently. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO 9001, GMP, and quality inspection of small precision components.
