Our client is a Chemical Manufacturing MNC. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Assistant Finance Manager to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - With company transport provided Job Description: Budgeting & Forecasting Support the preparation of bi-annual budgets and periodic forecasts Consolidate inputs from stakeholders and validate underlying assumptions Analyse actual performance against budget and provide variance explanations Financial Closing & Reporting Assist and coordinate month-end closing activities to ensure all deadlines are achieved Prepare and review journal entries (e.g. accruals, prepayments, and adjustments), trial balance, and related supporting schedules Ensure financial reports are complete, accurate, and properly maintained External Audit & Compliance Support the external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation Liaise with external auditors and respond to audit queries in a timely manner Ensure accounts are maintained in an audit-ready state throughout the year Operations Oversight Support the Finance Manager in managing day-to-day finance operations (AP, GL, etc.) Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and controls Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed Process Improvement & Digitalisation Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives Support finance transformation and digitalisation projects Requirements: Diploma/ Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Full Set Finance Well versed in SAP Hana S4 Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please click APPLY NOW or email an updated copy of your resume/cv.
